Swimming 2017 reflection!

Swimming


This week LH6 went swimming. Each week for Term 3 we get to go to swimming. We were separated into 3 groups. I was put in group 3 with my friend Norah. Our teacher was called Stan. In our swimming lessons, we learn free style and how to breathe. Another exercise we did has scissor kicks. That is an exercise where you lie on your side and do kicks on the side. Swimming lessons are really fun! Since I am taking a break from my swimming lessons out of school and I really miss it. The swimming lessons that I take every Tuesday are a good way to get me to remember the swimming techniques and make me not miss swimming anymore. I love going to the swimming lessons and they are really fun. I am really excited when we get to do the life safety ones with life jackets. Hopefully, you enjoyed my Reflection!

My Health Workshop Reflection

My Health Workshop Reflection

Today, we learnt about our health. The workshop was mainly focused on Personal Hygiene. We learnt that at our age we tend to start using deodorant. People have to use this so that they don't get body odour when you sweat. Another thing the teacher talked to us about is brushing our teeth 2 times a day morning and night. This can help to stop having bad breath. Other things you can use to help bad breath is to use mints. Washing hands was also another thing that the teacher taught us about. She said that we had to wash our hands before eating to stop you getting germs inside your body if you touched equipment other people touch. The last thing that the teacher taught us is to change and wash clothes, socks and underwear. We have to always have to wash the clothes, socks and underwear on our body so that it doesn't get too stinky. I am going to start washing my hands before eating food now.
